Film of the Week

Amy and Dean are a really sweet, genuine couple, who don't do things conventionally at all! From how they met, to how Amy proposed – that's right, Amy proposed – to Dean, their love story is very unique and very much meant to be. I won't give away too much, but there are some wild coincidences that lead to be married last year on a very special date.

This film by Sunshine Coast cinematographers, Lumina Motion Pictures, is a pre-wedding day love story film/same day edit hybrid that was played at the couple's reception for all their guests to enjoy. What's a same day edit, you ask? Well it's where logistically skillful wedding cinematographers take footage from the early parts of the wedding day, like getting ready and the ceremony itself, have it edited, ready for playing a couple of hours later! This usually takes a well-rehearsed duo, like Richelle and Shane from Lumina, to pull off, especially if it's a surprise for the bride and groom, like this one was!

We hope you enjoy this delightful film, but not before you hightail it down to A Very Vintage Wedding Fair at the Bleeding Heart Gallery in Brisbane, where the vintage treasures of your dreams await you.
