Rachelle + Ike’s Mooloolaba Engagement Shoot

We got engaged on 29th November 2014! We’d planned to have a relaxed day at the beach, and the next thing I know – my mum woke me up at 7am with a note from him.

I know we had fun things planned today, but I’ve been called away on a business trip at the last minute! So I have planned a fun day for you while I’m gone! Be ready to leave the house by 8am!

Throughout the day, friends of mine (new and old) came to my house in pairs to pick me up for different adventures! We went for breakfast, massages, manicure / pedicures, lunch, and shopping for a new dress!

He flew down my future sister-in-law from North Queensland, and another friend he flew down from Townsville.

I got to spend the day with many of my favourite people, and at the end of it – I got driven home and got out of the car to see the front door of my house had been taped up!! I opened the door and the house was filled with over 300 candles!! I followed the aisle and around the corner was everyone who’d played a part in the day – and in the centre there he was! We both cried and embraced – exhausted from being apart all day! (Soppy, I know.)

And then he got down on one knee and asked me that special question!

Then we all hugged and got photos together and had an awesome bbq to celebrate! He did an amazing job, along with my bestie Sophie in planning the most amazing day for me! I wouldn’t have changed a thing!
