Happy Christmas Sunshine Coast Brides and Grooms!

A Very Christmas Wish

A poem by Sally Townsend

I wish you days in the sunshine, sand between your toes, salt in your hair and the odd bit of water up your nose.

I wish you many Mimosas and naughty iced teas, Pimms and prawns, and platters of cheese.

I wish all your presents are the best of the lot, and all around wonder where your gift of gift-giving was got.

When it’s time on The Eve to close your eyes, I wish you best-laid plans to swipe the last mince pie.

When you wake your stocking I wish will house treats – delicates, trinkets and delicious sweet eats.

I wish after lunch when all take a snooze, that yours is the couch spot most people would choose.

If there’s kids in your house to whom Santa brings toys, I wish they’re assembled and don’t make much noise.

I wish you a pool or a beach or a hose, a sprinkler will do – in fact, go buy one of those.

I wish you all of the Christmassy tunes, walks at twilight and a cheeky kiss in the dunes.

When all is quiet, the cheer is all had, I most wish you feelings of grateful and glad.

‘Tis the very season that’s my favourite you see, so I wish you love, happiness and a real pretty tree.

Happy holidays everybody!

We will take a short break from blogging to enjoy some family time and see you all very soon in 2018. In the meantime you can still get your Sunshine Coast wedding inspo fix on Instagram and Facebook feeds, and interact with other brides planning a Sunshine Coast wedding in our Sunshine Coast Brides’ Tribe Facebook group

All our love and cheer to you!

Happy holidays from Sally and Jenny xo
