Cinematographers, Jensen & Young, are not a new pairing, however they are fairly new to the Sunshine Coast wedding world. They’ve just been a little busy these past few years… you know, making feature films in the US and whatnot. No biggie.

If you think you’ve seen it all when it comes to bridal shows, uh-uh, my friend. The Sunshine Coast Bridal Showcase has been undergoing some major transformations the past 12 months, and this upcoming event can only be described as the bridal Promised Land. 

The indoor-outdoor event will showcase over 100 wedding suppliers, many who have come up with special offers only available to show attendees. There will be two fashion shows on the day; the 2:30pm show is when the winner of the $15,000 Ultimate Bridal Package winner will be drawn. To go into the draw, you just need to attend on the day and fill in an entry on your way in. 

When you’ve had enough of snagging bargains and winning prizes, you can head on outside to where a variety of marquees and tipis will be set up for you to check out, alongside food vans, so you can keep your bag carrier – I mean, fiance – happy by filling him up with delicious eats. Most importantly, there will be a gelato van – an essential in our summer heat!

Sometimes the giving of things or the finer details or effort means a lot more than when someone actually speaks the words “I love you”.

We like people to have an “experience” when people come to our fairs. Making it personal helps others to see how much you care for them. Some people are better are creating things or giving things than expressing their verbal feelings. A gift from the heart.

Asking your besties to be a part of your memorable day can be an occasion in itself.

Set the scene.

Take them to a special place. We are thrilled to know that one of our “Darlings”  – Anne – opened The Rose Room High Tea Café. It’s new and will be a delight for all of you.

Plan it out. How will you ask them? It’s almost like a bestie proposal. The lovely bird has a beautiful range of handmade cards.

Today, my lovely little Sunshine Coast brides, I'm going to answer this question for you all. We have made the most wonderful discoveries in hinterland-based wedding designers and planners, specialising in marquee weddings. I am of course speaking of none other than the amazing duo, Elisabeth and Kay, from Red Letter Studio (formerly known as Weddings in the Wild).

Red Letter Studio have access to both an amazing selection of every which kind of marquee you could hope to find, and the properties and venues appropriate for hosting such affairs. Aha! Perfect! Now, when we say "marquee weddings", we are not referring to a bang-together tent-type situation. Oh no, we are talking amazing, lavish, fully styled and decorated down to the very last detail. Think beautiful lounges, cocktail bars, chandeliers, and everything in-between.

Marquee weddings can be planned for 10 up to 200 guests and there is a lot of variations in the set up available, even with the ability to create separate rooms within the marquee. This works beautifully if you are wanting to create a chilled out lounge area for one and dance area for another, while keeping your dining area separate. You can be creative as you like with this, or if you're not so up with the creativity, worry not because the Red Letter Studio team have oodles to go around.

Aside from the marquees themselves, Elisabeth and Kay take care of absolutely everything to do with your wedding planning, and with 17 years local area knowledge and relationships with suppliers in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, they are definitely the gals in the know. From the first consultation, where they find out exactly what makes you tick as a couple and what you envision for your wedding day, down to the very last detail with fitting out your marquee beautifully, the girls have got you covered.
