For our latest magazine, we concepted the most amazing garden wedding inspiration at a private property in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. We gathered a team of wedding professionals, who are amongst the Sunshine Coast’s best. 

Today I wanted to share a few of the fashion and beauty images we couldn’t fit in the magazine, because we had so many amazing photos from the far too talented Andrea Sproxton Photography. 

Elegant side chignon style side swept over glamorous makeup design. Lurve the perfect brows, perfect glam eyes and red lip perfection. This sleek hairstyle is by Rolling Scissors, while the makeup is by KJ Artistry. 

Francesca wears ‘Batala’ from Spanish designer Pronovias, a divine a-line gown with off-the-shoulder neckline, teamed with a chantilly lace fingertip mantilla veil, both from White Lily Couture.

Classic black is elegant with a bow tie and tuxedo shirt from Suits Direct on model, G.

We are in double digits, friends! We have reached our 10th volume of The Bride’s Tree Magazine. Two and a half years of weddingy goodness in the form of our free online wedding magazine have come by so darn quickly!

The tangerine dress our model, Charlotte, wears was actually the inspiration for the entire colour palette, as Hayley Shum from Wholehearted Studio, who concepted and styled the shoot, fell in love at first sight with it.

It is also said to be terribly good luck for the bride first to be greeted by a bagpipe player when arriving at her wedding ceremony. This ensures a long and successful marriage, according to legend. How lovely indeed! If you really wanted to get into it, you could even have your groom wear a kilt! Your guests could throw thistles instead of rose petals, or you could have a Highland Cow  walk you down the aisle, and paint your page boy's face half blue! Ahem… too far? 

Bagpipes played well are a beautiful touch to your wedding ceremony, and as a professional piper will often start prior to the bride's arrival, guests will feel welcomed and enjoy the unique touch. Of course, you will notice I said, "played well." That's really the trick to it – you simply must have the best of the best for optimum enjoyment of the magic of this instrument.

Wayne Kennedy of Kennedy Bagpipes is an amazing  professional bagpiper, and regularly performs at weddings. Every wedding Wayne performs at is tailored to the needs of the Bride and Groom. Wayne has had a very successful piping career, including being a former member of the Queensland Police Pipe Band and a two time winner of the North American Pipe Band Championships. One such couple, who hired Wayne as their wedding ceremony entertainment were Rebel and Richard of Connondale. This lovely Sunshine Coast bride and groom were married on their own sprawling private property and say the sound of Kennedy Bagpipes flowing through the paddock was simply magical.
