For Sandy and Chris being married is an inevitability. Here in Australia marriage equality has been legal only since January this year, though this couple knew in their heart of hearts it was only a matter of time. 

These aren’t their real wedding photos, this is a mock wedding photo shoot set up by Sunshine Coast celebrant, Fiona Duce of Coastal Weddings. This shoot took place last year before the law to allow same sex marriages was passed, and Fiona had this to say about why doing this shoot was important to her. 

“I wanted to have some photos on my website that showed my support for the upcoming passing of legislation and marriage equality. I contacted various vendors and allowed them creative freedom over their specialities with a very basic outline of what we were seeking. All vendors were extremely supportive of the shoot (except for a last minute change of ceremony location) and that was important to me, as at that point of time we didn’t know the result of the vote.

“I always wanted a real couple to ensure they were relaxed and conveyed passion in the photos. All tears in the photos are genuine!”

This shoot has great style and you can really see the love! What a Good Friday for a Great Wedding (shoot)…
