I don't know about you guys, but I think one of the prettiest pretties to be found at a Sunshine Coast wedding comes in the form of flowers. Their perfection, their delicacy and their fragility put together in perfect arrangements, so artistic in nature, just simply leave us breathless. Every time!

Modern Glamour Styled Reception

In our most recent edition of The Bride's Tree free online bridal magazine, we featured an incredible styled shoot, which was all about modern glamour. Think lots of white, symmetry, pretty glassware and pink detailing. There was crystal, bling, and candles, and the very on-trend ghost chairs, which we love and adore oh so much.

The reception was set up amidst the luscious greenery of Beedazzled Fantasia, and of course decorated to perfection by Sunshine Coast wedding planners and decorators, Beedazzled Events, with super pretty floral arrangements by Sunshine Coast wedding florist, I-blossom, and amazing designer stationery by Sunshine Coast wedding invitation designer, Stand Tall Design.

Gorgeous photos were taken through the afternoon to the evening by one of our fave Sunshine Coast wedding photographers, Lindy Photography. We couldn't possibly fit all of the beautiful images in our 100-page magazine, so we are sharing the ones we did not have space for with you today. Enjoy!

It is always a nice day for a white wedding, and white wedding flowers. According to Maroochydore floral designer, I-blossom, it seems classic white wedding floral arrangements are very popular with Sunshine Coast brides. They have been commissioned to create some amazing bridal bouquets in white of late, and today we share some of them with you.

We love a good collaboration between a bunch of awesome Sunshine Coast wedding suppliers, and this one is a real treat. This vintage wedding inspiration shoot was beautifully styled by CL Weddings and Events, perfectly complimenting the gorgeous floral arrangements by i-blossom. We love the amazing vintage furniture in this shoot, and the lovely vintage-inspired fashion. Roses are Many Colours, Shapes and Sizes

There is nothing more romantic than a rose for your Sunshine Coast wedding. It is the symbol of love and romanticism. It's no wonder the flower is so frequently used is bridal bouquets. The rose is also a very versatile flower, and can bring that romance to your wedding flowers in many different ways. There are different kinds of roses – David Austin Roses, Grandiflora, Leonidas, Anouschka, Prima Donna to name a few… and don't even get me started on the hybrid roses (although I am particularly partial to a tulip rose.)

You would also be surprised to learn how many colours roses come in – of course your expected red, white, and every shade of pink imaginable, but also purple, blue, yellow, orange, green, cream, bronze, brown, peach, apricot and even blue – yes, blue. A blue rose! Who'd have thunk it?

And then you have to wonder about whether or not to have all roses, or to team your chosen rose with other flowers to make for a more intricate bouquet? And would you like a posy, a tear drop or a cascading bouquet?
