The pair dreamt of an Australian beach wedding in beautiful mid-morning light. For their Noosa wedding ceremony, they chose an incredibly beautiful spot at Casuarina Gardens, Noosa Heads, where there are also so many great spots to have idyllic photos taken. After the ceremony and bridal party photos, Ali and Adam travelled in style to their restaurant wedding reception at Noosa River. Rickys River Bar + Restaurant was the absolute perfect waterfront wedding venue for this loved up couple and their 102 guests to enjoy amazing food and wine.

It’s no wonder Amber and Conrad chose this beautiful venue to have their wedding ceremony and reception. Amidst the pretty gardens, stunning sunset-toned floral arrangements by iBlossom were the order of the day, only eclipsed by the beauty of the bride, as it should be!

Biggest Splurge: Our biggest spurge was the venue, but fell in love with the elegance and beauty of the Estate as soon as we drove up the drive for the first time.  It is obviously a magnificent venue with very professional staff and as for the dining, well, lets just say that many of our guests said it was the best food they had ever eaten! 

Best Bargain: We bought some large wooden picture frames from our local charity store for a few dollars each. Conrad painted them to be used as chalkboard signs for the garden games. We left our own compact digital camera on a table at the reception. We tied a little note to it, inviting guests to take photos for us. We are so glad we did this; as the photos from this camera really captured some great moments later on in the night, after our photographer had left. 

DIY: We made the bonbonniere ourselves. We filled little white boxes with our favourite chocolates, and then tied them up with big bows of beautiful satin ribbon. They looked spectacular placed out on the long dining table and Katja took some great photos which really showed them off.

Lauren and Don were married in a Lake Weyba ceremony, and followed it up with a cocktail-style catered reception at Eumarella Shores. The Australian bush setting on the Noosa waterfront of Lake Weyba really needed no jazzing up, so the couple decided to keep things simple and let the location speak for itself. Lauren simply wanted to enhance what was already so beautifully there. The bridal bouquet was one way Lauren gave a nod to the natural Australian bush wedding theme, choosing mostly native flowers with splashes of pink, mauve and olive. They even had some kangaroos turn up for a sneaky peek at the bride and groom! 

Canapes, cheese platters and hot boxes of delicious beef stroganoff or pesto chicken pasta with fresh parmesan were offered to guests cocktail-style, while 4-piece live band DisKord rocked the house with all their fave tunes. Sounds like a pretty darn fun Sunshine Coast bush wedding to us!

When planning their wedding, Sam and Rick thought back to the night they met at the Ivy Bar in Sydney. This chance meeting resulting in their union as husband and wife deserved to be paid homage, plus it was just a really cool theme idea, so the pair recreated their own Ivy Bar right here on the Sunshine Coast! Their 100 guests gathered at Noosa hinterland bed and breakfast, Alaya Verde, for a gorgeous blue and green-themed wedding. Talk about an incredible wedding venue!

The meaningful wedding included plenty of DIY, and a beautiful ceremony of passing the rings between the guests to bless them as a collective prior to the exchange between the couple.  We’re really excited to be sharing with you the following stunning images by Katja Anton Photography. Enjoy!

When planning their nuptials, Sophia had a bit of trouble narrowing down her many ideas into a styled theme that was both what she wanted and simplified enough to work. Her mother was the saviour there, helping to get things on track. The concept ended up being clean, crisp white with pops of colour in the floral arrangements, bridesmaid gowns and other styling pieces.

Friends and family members were heavily involved in their Sunshine Coast wedding day from start to finish with prayer readings at the Pomona church ceremony, wedding reception speeches, and they even asked a friend to be the MC.

Relaxed guitar music played as the 105 guests enjoyed a seafood dinner, and later on became more lively with plenty of dancing fun. The Noosa wedding reception venue featured sweet heart-shaped chalk boards and bird cages, along with a little DIY in the form of a table seating chart by the groom, and stationery by the bride’s brother.

This lovely couple know each other far too well. On their wedding day morning, they exchanged gifts of golf clubs for the groom and a Tiffany & Co pendant for the bride, which she wore with her wedding gown. Talk about spoilt!
