Glass floats have been around for a long time! They were once used by fishermen to keep their fishing nets or lines afloat. Although they aren't used anymore they have become very popular collectors' items for beach-style decorators or the avid vintage collector. 

When I came across these little beauties in Willow & Bird Cotton Tree, I instantly pictured them as favours or decorative pieces for a nautical beach wedding. 

Placed on a dinner plate with a place setting tied on would have them double as your place seating arrangement. Alternatively, tie thank you notes onto them and place them collectively in a large white bowl near your guest book area to keep the favours off the table. Or place them piled up in vases for centrepieces and then give them out to your guests at the end of the night.
