Penny went into full organise mode when planning her wedding, gaining inspiration from inspiration online blogs, like The Bride’s Tree! She also wanted to put all her trust and faith in the consumate professionals we have here on the Sunshine Coast. “All our family and friends were very supportive but we did much of the planning ourselves or by email and phone. I Googled suppliers and followed their blogs and read their Facebook pages. In the end I went with the suppliers that seemed like they would understand my vision, I didn’t worry about getting three quotes and checking twice. It was about choosing the people I really wanted to work with.”

“I had a million themes in mind! Wedding blogs were my best friend and I poured over them all. The girls will attest that I had so many ideas; it took a while to scale everything back to a colour palette and feel I was happy with. In the end it came to be lots of white, with touches of colour in the flowers and other accents. Light and elegant was how it turned out.”

The prize was absolutely awesome with not only a couple’s portrait shoot at an amazing Sunshine Coast location, but also styling for the shoot to notch up the perfection of it. To ensure every little detail was accounted for, the prize also included hair and makeup by Sunshine Coast hair and makeup artist, Sally Townsend Makeup Artistry to make for a final result that is beyond amazing. 

Philicia entered her and her now husband, Ryan, and they were our lucky winners. So as newlyweds, they were off up the range to Montville wedding venue, Spicers Clovelly Estate, for a portrait shoot to celebrate their love and commemorate this special time in their lives. 

Anyway, enough from us. Time to enjoy the pretty. After all, we think the images really speak for themselves…
