My Wedding DJ App

If you have a mate lined up to press play, pause, next for your wedding ceremony songs, you might like to come up with as fool proof a process as you can. The last thing you want at a crucial moment is to have the song cut out, the next song to start too soon, or worse… What if he accidentally skips to the party songs meant for later on in the night, and where "The Only Exception" should be for evoking emotion, you get "Baby Got Back." Not quite so tear-jerking, of course.

I've got news for you, my lovely Sunshine Coast Brides. There actually is a pretty darn fool proof option that some clever person has come up with. The smart phone applications out there never cease to amaze me, and the My Wedding DJ app for iPhone and iPod is my latest fave. It allows you to organise all of your wedding music, accessing it straight from your iTunes. There are lists you can compile your songs into, from processions to The Kiss song, from the first dance to the bouquet toss song, party songs, all the way to the last song of the night. Every last reason for a song to be chosen for a particular moment is pre-programmed into the app, ready for you to fill or delete or replace with a special moment of your own creation.

I think the best thing about this application is the slide to next song, making it virtually impossible to stuff up the order of things or have a false start. And with graceful fades in and out, the transition from accompanied moment to moment will be seamless!

There is also plenty of flexibility to change things up and even a “Take a Request” function! I have to say, I absolutely love this application, it would be extremely handy for your Sunshine Coast wedding.
