The Sunshine Coast wedding industry is in full swing with wedding season firmly upon us. Spring is always a busy time of year for weddings in our little piece of Queensland wedding paradise. We know there are a whole lotta brides out there now realising that a mere 12 months remain until their turn to walk down the aisle, so planning is underway as well. That’s why it’s the perfect time for our Spring edition of The Bride’s Tree free online bridal magazine to enter your life. 

Elegant in the Country

This, our 19th edition, will have you positively dripping with ideas as you pore over the whole 102 pages of pretty. We kick off with a quaint country wedding with a kind of high end, yet effortlessly elegant wedding inspiration shoot held at a newly available private property. This is the first time this venue has been photographed, so we are quite chuffed to have the scoop on this stone cottage in the hinterland, boasting an horizon fringed with an abundance of treetops. Rich and stately furniture pieces met with simple elegant cakes and impressive floral arrangements to create a country wedding style in the Sunshine Coast hinterland that is both contemporary and timeless. 

The Bedouin Bride

We found our bridal magazine cover shot from this organic beach bridal inspiration shoot. The Bedouin Bride features a raw style with a canvas tipi in the dunes, a horse and just to round things up to exceptional, drone aerial shots of Shelly Beach in Caloundra. Oh, did I mention the bouquet of coral poppies? Pinch me now. 

Aislinn + Tom’s Marquee Wedding

The hero of this wedding is by far the floral arrangements that we are still having trouble tearing our eyes away from. Every time it’s gazed upon, this floral chandelier reveals yet another delicious detail. The rest of the couple’s marquee wedding set on the grounds of a stunning old Maleny homestead is pretty darn special, too. 

Sunshine + Happiness

If you want to infuse a little sunshine into your wedding by using the happiest of colour themes, this is how you do it. A yellow wedding is a challenge to get right – it’s all about using the right blooms in quantities that still leave room for elegance. Mission accomplished at this shoot at Sunshine Coast hinterland wedding venue, Weddings at Tiffany’s. 

Catching Dreams + Fading Stars

When conventional isn’t in your repertoire, teaming vintage-inspired furniture with fur and lace and dream catchers on the beach is completely within the scope of idiosyncratic wedding styling. On the sand at serene Currimundi Lake this dreamy, sensual bridal inspiration took place. The film, found within the pages of our online magazine, is a must-watch.

In this edition we have brought back our Bridal Beauty pages. This image on the front cover is one from our Bridal Beauty shoot, so if that’s any indication for you… outrageously beautiful, obviously. 

Our first two features are a styled shoot and a real wedding, which both have receptions under clear marquees. You can see just how spectacular these look, and each is styled so very differently.

As you know, our latest free online magazine came out yesterday, and it’s full of all kinds of inspiring real weddings that I adored so much, it was impossible for me not to share them with you my dear readers. It’s because I adore you with all my little heart, lovely Sunshine Coast brides!

Bec and Brett’s Maleny Retreat wedding (pictured above was all smiles all the time. From wedding cake and help-yourself afternoon tea with panoramic views of the Glasshouse Mountains to the lawn games to the carnival style marquee reception. What’s not to love? This couple wanted to keep things intimate, so the Sunshine Coast hinterland’s own French-provincial inspired luxury estate, where everyone could make a weekend of it, was a wonderful choice. So those were my top 4 Editor’s picks for my fave weddings from our latest magazine. Cause I’m the Editor. And I was picking my four faves. Totally legit… Okay fine, I may have pulled the wool over your eyes, dear readers. In a manner of speaking. While yes, you’re right, four is the total number of real weddings in our summer edition, they really are all my faves! 

I hope you have not lost all faith in me for this deceit. I’m pretty sure you’ll be with me once you have seen them all – picking one fave is impossible when they are all so amazing!

For our latest magazine, we concepted the most amazing garden wedding inspiration at a private property in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. We gathered a team of wedding professionals, who are amongst the Sunshine Coast’s best. 

Today I wanted to share a few of the fashion and beauty images we couldn’t fit in the magazine, because we had so many amazing photos from the far too talented Andrea Sproxton Photography. 

Elegant side chignon style side swept over glamorous makeup design. Lurve the perfect brows, perfect glam eyes and red lip perfection. This sleek hairstyle is by Rolling Scissors, while the makeup is by KJ Artistry.
