Bridal gown designer, Erin Clare, is famous for her exquisite elegant designs with the very prettiest of details. Her most recent collections have features gowns with lace detailing, which elevate the silhouettes of the gowns. 

3D lace is a bridal gown trend with a distinctly whimsical feel, adding interest to any wedding dress. The dresses in this shoot feature 3D lace in designs using flowers, petals and leaves, and even some darling butterflies. 

While she jet sets around the world showcasing her designs, we are so lucky to have Erin Clare based right here on the Sunshine Coast in Noosa. 

This shoot took place in the heart of Noosa on the idyllic Noosa Beach, specifically at Little Cove. Jennifer Oliphant is the photographer responsible for these stunning images. 

Penelope

‘Penelope‘ is delicately embellished with 3D embroidered butterfly lace for a whimsical, youthful feel. The couture wedding gown features a low back with delicate criss-cross strap detail and romantic soft tulle skirt with a train.

Aria

‘Aria‘ has 3D lace embellished gown.  Sheer v neckline, plunging v back, silk button detail and a sheer train.

Completely change the silhouette of the Aria gown by adding the Ashley skirt, a delicate removable tulle skirt with train. 

Skye

‘Skye‘ focuses on the floral with 3d embroidered floral lace adorning the entire gown. Skye also features an illusion v neckline and detachable tulle sleeves.

The best of both worlds – a chapel wedding in the country, followed by gorgeous Noosa beach bridal party photos at Little Cove, and a marquee reception at a private Noosa residence. I have to say, that sounds really quite a perfect wedding day! 

Emma and Jacob planned a gorgeous affair from top to bottom, with stacks of DIY details and a country feel that we are just mad for. Raving mad to be precise. Their ceremony took place at AnnaBella, The Wedding Chapel, in Ilkley after a 12-month engagement, during which family and friends pitched in to help make invitations, decorations and anything else they could manage to help keeps costs down.

This ceremony styling is like something from  a fairytale, and in the incredible hinterland setting of wedding venue, Flaxton Gardens, it is a sight to behold. Peering through the looking glass doors to the outrageously stunning view of the Sunshine Coast hinterland beyond… hola perfection. 

Autumn colours have been used throughout the styling by talented sister duo, Style le Aisle, and followed through in the florals. We love this ceremony styling for a Sunshine Coast hinterland wedding in autumn.

Cecile and Trent may just be the cutest couple we’ve seen. It definitely takes a very strong couple to work together and live together, as these two events planners do. 

Trent proposed to Cecile in 2013 just as they both completed the Kokoda Trail. They wed in a beautiful ceremony at Flaxton Gardens, following it up with some sensational location shots around the hinterland in Flaxton and Maleny.

They then head back to Flaxton Gardens to rejoin their 105 guests for a relaxed reception. Jennifer Oliphant was there to capture every moment of their special day. 

“I wanted a Tiffany theme as the first present Trent ever gave me was a beautiful Tiffany bracelet. I also wanted a classic and simple theme and I think the Tiffany blue colour is beautiful.”

“We made sure to invite only the people we really wanted in our wedding. We had all our close friends and family there. I also had my parents, sister and her partner, brother and his partner and a close friend travelling all the way from Norway.”

“Make sure to make time during your wedding day to take it all in. Trent and I did all our bridal party photos onsite and then we went off on our own to do our couples photos. We also took some time during the reception to be just us. “

“We’re best mates and we trust each other 100%. We work together and pretty much sit next to each other in our office and we couldn’t imagine having it any other way. I guess an important thing that makes us work so well together is that we share the same values and goals in life. We both very family orientated and we can’t wait to start a family together in a couple of years’ time.”

“We spent a week in Noosa after the wedding with my family from Norway but that didn’t count as our honeymoon. We’re planning an extended trip to Europe and South America in 2015. “

Bridget and Jordan made the sweetest Maleny bride and groom. Their wedding had a timeless simple elegance about it. And it sounds like Bridget and her mother and sister had an awful lot of fun on various crafternoons in the lead up to create some DIY prettiness for the big day. 

This lovely Sunshine Coast hinterland wedding was held exactly four years to the day after the couple’s first date in North Queensland, where they were both working at the time. It is not difficult to see how much they adore one another and belong together. Just take a stroll through their wedding day with these gorgeous images by Jennifer Oliphant Photographer.

“We stayed at Montville Lake Terrace leading up to the wedding. Mum made our bouquets overlooking the lake while we all hung around together.”

“We just wanted to have a wedding that was timeless, pretty and full of love.”

“I made sure we were well prepared so as the day grew closer we could just kick back and enjoy it!”

We went on a date a few days before I moved back to Brisbane, then thought we would see where it went… and here we are!  Our wedding was four years to the day of our first date.”

Marketing Manager Louise and Engineer Michael first met in primary school, when their families lived across the road from one another. Having known each other for such a long time, it’s no wonder Louise describes mutual respect as their greatest strength as a couple. 

While the couple of five years lives locally, their family and friends travelled from Victoria to spend some time soaking up the Sunshine Coast. Oh, and of course celebrating the marital union of the very gorgeous Louise and Michael. 

Jennifer Oliphant  was the couple’s chosen photographer, capturing their day in a most beautiful manner. The wedding began with a ceremony at one of our favourite venues, Anna Bella The Wedding Chapel, and followed with photos on the beach and a Maroochydore restaurant reception.

As the majority of our guests were coming from Victoria and had not seen where we lived we wanted a location that showed the best of the Sunshine Coast – The beautiful Hinterland and the amazing beaches, all in a relaxed environment

I had both my sisters as my bridesmaids, my Dad walk me down the aisle and my brother did a reading. Michael had his Uncle and two best mates as his Groomsman, and another good friend as the MC. 

Gifts All Around

I gave my Bridesmaids and Mum Peter Alexandra robes to get ready in. Michael gave his groomsman Calvin Klein Underwear and aftershave.

Mini-Honeymoon

We went on a little honeymoon to Byron straight after the wedding (stayed at – The Byron at Byron) but we are going to America early next year.

Lovely Sunshine Coast bride, Megan, planned a beautiful vintage beach-themed wedding on a budget. With a little help from family and friends, her DIY efforts started with the invitations, continued with putting together bombonieres and even went so far as arranging the flowers and hair styling.

The pair were married at Kawana beach under a bamboo canopy the bride and her father constructed together, and then held their modestly catered reception in their church hall. As a very sweet touch, the couple surprised the bride’s father, a long-time Kombi van enthusiast with a super rad mode of transportation from Deluxe Kombie Service that really went with the vintage beach theme, too!

“The best part of my day was marrying my best friend and love of my life, which I know is corny, but true.”

“Our families have been friends for many years before we were born so we grew up together.  Matthew moved to the Sunshine Coast a few years before me and when I did later we saw each other in a different light and started dating.”

Bridal gown: Alfred Angelo sweetheart neckline tulle dress with an A-line skirt bought from Casars Elegance  in Maroochydore. It cost $900 and I had alterations done by Marilyn Crystelle Bridal.

Accessories: I had a brooch from each of my grandmother’s, one on my dress and the other on my bouquet.  My veil was my mum’s and with the beautiful embroidery on the edging it was stunning!

Shoes: Gold glitter ballet flats from Payless Shoes

Bridesmaid dresses: Cream lace dress from Cotton On

Bridesmaids’ accessories: Belt made from ribbon I added myself.  Flower girls crown made by myself.

Groom and Groomsmen’s suit and shoes: They all already owned black pants and white shirt and Matt’s grandmother made the vests.
