Real Wedding: Elle & Chris in Noosa

Glamour on the beach was the order of the day for Elle and Chris’ Noosa Heads wedding. Their ceremony was witnessed by their 94 guests at Maison La Plage, and followed with a reception at the ever-gorgeous waterfront restaurant, Rickys River Bar & Restaurant.

Elle planned the wedding meticulously, enlisting the help of the best of the best wedding professionals. From the flowers to the decorations and everything in-between, this is one stylish affair. In keeping with the exceptional standard, Tanya from Chesterton Smith Photography was the one to capture all the wonderful memories.

The Vows

We wrote our own vows and didn’t share them before the ceremony so it was very special hearing what each other promised.

The Niceties are So Nice

Chris gave me a diamond necklace and I gave him cufflinks. He gave his grromsmen ray ban sunglasses and I gave my bridesmaids necklaces and earrings.We wanted the wedding to be personal and fun for our family and friends but also stylish.

Keeping It In The Family

Our brothers and sisters were included in the bridal party and our mothers were our witnesses. My dad walked me down the aisle and gave me away. My brother also read a poem at the ceremony, which was written by my grandfather who had just passed.

The Bride’s Advice

Try to enjoy the whole experience. When things get stressful or overwhelming, take a deep breath and remember that you are marrying the love of your life and celebrating with all of your closest family and friends.

Biggest splurge: Food and alcohol

Best money-saver: Ceremony flowers. We splurged on the reception flowers but we got the flowers for the ceremony from the flower market and had a friend do the arrangement.
