Venue Review: Michel Chalets

16th July 2012

Michel Chalets is one of those places we have happened upon in our travels as explorers of all things “wedding” on the Sunshine Coast, where we find ourselves saying, “Wow, we are so amazed this even exists here!” It’s a discovery we have genuinely delighted in, as it has everything you could hope to find in a wedding venue. Firstly, it’s located up in the beautiful Sunshine Coast hinterland, which is a truly romantic place to be married. Secondly, the Chalets has accommodation, several gorgeous ceremony settings to choose from, countless spots for pretty bridal party photo opportunities, and catering…

We have a brand new "of the week" for you today, my lovely Sunshine Coast brides! As our title here suggest, it's all about cakes for the next several Sundays. Ooh, delicious! Our very first wedding Cake of the Week is brought to us by Sunny Girl Cakes. The lovely Skye, Miss Sunny Girl herself, created this gorgeous blue and white tiered ruffle cake. Whimsical Garden Party Wedding at Yandina Station

12th July 2012

On the morning of Carly and Anthony’s Sunshine Coast wedding, Carly’s lovely bridesmaid, Kayla, made the lovely gesture of getting a cooked breakfast going. And that was the last (not so) bad thing to happen that day. Despite a bit of rain in the morning, the afternoon cleared up beautifully, and this lovely young couple were able to be married under a spectacular fig tree in a whimsical garden party…

9th July 2012

Andrea Sproxton made her start in photography in 2005, first doing family portraits. In 2009, after countless families had been given The Andrea Experience and ended up with some stunning images to boot, a friend of a friend asked Andrea to photograph her wedding. A bit hesitant at first, Andrea wasn't sure if she would love or hate being a wedding photographer, but luckily for many Sunshine Coast brides, she loves them! With quite a passion, we might add. Since that first wedding, Andrea hasn't looked back and has become one of our most popular Sunshine Coast wedding photographers. As…
