The Story of a Dress | Custom Two-piece by Judy Copley Bridal

It was a body suit designer Judy Copley had previously made that had bride Amanda heading straight for the Sunshine Coast studio to claim her own.

Starting afresh with guipure lace and Amanda’s measurements in hand, Judy deconstructed the existing lace and then hand-stitched the pieces back together to recreate it into its own new imagining. Once the body suit was constructed with flattering sweetheart neckline and gorgeous lace straps, thousands of pearls were hand-beaded in place. The embellishments have a stunning effect.

“I’d made a body suit, which Amanda had seen, so she came and ordered similar to her liking – changed the back.” Judy says.

Judy made a full flowing detachable tulle skirt with dreamy floaty factor to be worn with the body suit on the wedding day. The beauty of this very special one-of-a-kind wedding dress is the body suit can be worn again with a different style of skirt or pants.
