Real Wedding: Stacey & Ryan at Noosa Waterfront

19th February 2015

Bank manager, Stacey, married her Electricial beau, Ryan, in a simply gorgeous Noosa wedding. Although they experienced some rain, the couple who say they are very best friends loved every moment, and wouldn’t change a thing, including the cloud cover.  Noosa Waterfront was the location for both the ceremony and reception, while the bridal party photo shoot took place on the picturesque Noosa Main Beach. Jennipher Oliphant Photographer is responsible for the outrageously gorgeous images you see before you. “Our priorities when planning our wedding were finding a venue that felt welcoming and intimate. Finding a great photographer and finding the dress.“…

Styled Shoot: Flowers by the Waterfront

18th February 2015

Oh how we adore this romantic, whimsical wedding styling inspiration. The location for this styled shoot was Noosa Waterfront Restaurant & Bar, and what we find most delightful about this Noosa wedding venue is that it’s entirely possible to have a pretty garden wedding and an absolute waterfront wedding in one.  The soft pastel florals by Buderim Floral Art perfectly complement the location and the amazing concept styling by Sunshine Coast boutique wedding styling and planning agency, Lovebird Weddings.  It’s no secret we are big fans of Karen Buckle Photography here at The Bride’s Tree, and with these amazing…

Real Wedding: Emma and Jacob in Noosa and Ilkley

18th January 2015

The best of both worlds – a chapel wedding in the country, followed by gorgeous Noosa beach bridal party photos at Little Cove, and a marquee reception at a private Noosa residence. I have to say, that sounds really quite a perfect wedding day!  Emma and Jacob planned a gorgeous affair from top to bottom, with stacks of DIY details and a country feel that we are just mad for. Raving mad to be precise. Their ceremony took place at AnnaBella, The Wedding Chapel, in Ilkley after a 12-month engagement, during which family and friends pitched in to help make…

Real Wedding: Karamea & Chris in Noosa

22nd September 2014

Perth couple, Karamea and Chris, brought a contingent of 70 guests with them to celebrate their nuptials in Karamea’s hometown of Noosa by the beach. Karamea’s grandmother and best friend were also precious cargo, travelling from New Zealand to be with the happy couple on their Noosa wedding day.  Planning a destination wedding, Karamea says her best decision was to hire a wedding planner from First Class Functions to both help arrange everything pre-wedding, and also coordinate a smooth sailing event on the day.  Their classic beach styled wedding with soft apricot colour theme was captured by photographer, Katja Anton AKA Weddings.  “Chris…

Engaged: Melissa and Ben in Doonan

14th August 2014

This handsome couple from Sydney came up to the Sunshine Coast to meet their wedding photographer, Alan Hughes Photography, and a holy gorgeous engagement photo shoot ensued. While they plan to marry in Yandina, their engagement session was held in Doonan, which, for those playing at home, is basically the country/inland part of Noosa.  Having the shoot before their wedding was all about discovering how Alan works in a way to make his subjects relax, enjoy and end up with beautiful pics to boot. I’d say mission accomplished.
