Wedding in Flaxton

26th March 2013

Nina and John enjoyed perfect weather for their Sunshine Coast hinterland wedding at gorgeous wedding venue, Flaxton Gardens. Carefully planned over their 18 month long engagement, this cute couple, who got together in an office romance, achieved the elegant vintage wedding they desired.  There were 70 guests at the Flaxton wedding, who were conveniently able to enjoy walking from the ceremony directly to the reception, as Flaxton Gardens have both a stunningly gorgeous spot to say your vows with the most incredible view, as well as a choice of reception locations. Delicious food is an absolute certainty in this place,…

Intimate Wedding at Exclusive Hinterland Estate

10th March 2013

Justine and Simon enjoyed their special day exactly the way they wanted to. All of their guests enjoyed a breakfast together, after spending the night at the luxurious private estate of Spicers Clovelly. With complete privacy for their intimate wedding of just 10 guests, the bridal couple were free to enjoy a walk together after breakfast, which calmed them for the day they faced ahead. Meanwhile, guests swam in the pool and enjoyed a light lunch before frocking up for the onsite ceremony.  The stand outs for us at this wedding were Justine’s positively toothsome Manolo Blahnik blue heels a…

29th September 2012

Ooh, pretty! Today's hair design of the week is actually not one, but FOUR beautiful hair styles by wonderful Sunshine Coast hair stylist, Taryn Smith Hair & Makeup. Aren't they simply splendid?  Sunshine Coast brides love having Taryn around on their wedding day morning for her beautiful personality as much as her amazing hair styling talents. Having had Taryn work with us on some photo shoots for The Bride's Tree online bridal magazine, we can certainly attest…

Fox Wedding in Maleny

6th August 2012

Kristen and Cameron Fox, who live on the north side of Brisbane, wanted to choose a place to be married that wasn’t too far for either their Brisbane-based family and friends, and also their Gympie-based family. A fair compromise and beautiful choice was to have a Sunshine Coast hinterland wedding.  When choosing a venue, they wanted to have everything in one place, so their guests could enjoy the day without travelling between the ceremony and reception. And so they chose to hold their wedding in the gorgeous tropical rainforest gardens of Sunshine Coast hinterland wedding venue, The Beerwah Hideaway. When…

Oh, no I'm not referring to the weather, but this "oh wow!" image by Penny Riddoch Photography. The lovely Penny is an incredible wedding photographer, who photographs mainly Sunshine Coast hinterland weddings. As someone so familiar with and passionate about The Range, she always produces stunning work, quite obviously taken with a love for what she does and an eye for the magic of our hinterland.
