Real wedding: Kelly and Mark at Yandina Station

12th August 2014

Kelly and Mark say having their whole family come out from South Africa to be together to share in their special day made it the most special time. The lovely couple are both originally from South Africa, but met in Melbourne and now live here on the Sunshine Coast. So making sure their international guests would enjoy their stay was of utmost importance in their planning. Knowing 80% of their wedding guests were travelling so very far to be with them on their wedding day at Yandina Station made the couple focus on what was most important, and forego the stressful part…

Real Wedding: Phoebe & Lochlan at Yandina Station

10th March 2014

In a whimsical woodland themed wedding at Yandina Station, Phoebe and Lochlan were married amongst an intimate gathering of their closest family and friends. The Dairy at Yandina Station was transformed delightfully with an outdoors-in feel, featuring tree stumps, moss and roses. The whole affair was gorgeously full of floral arrangements by Twig and Grace.  And something truly special – not one, but three cakes!  //// Glowing bride, Phoebe, shares her day with us in her own words and we have the treat of some Julian Beattie photos to pour over.  “Our wedding was a surreal, magic, love-high kind of a day. We felt completely…

Wedding Film: Rel & Jake at Yandina Station

14th October 2013

Prepare to be dazzled, my friends. Set at the stunning Yandina Station, Rel and Jake’s wedding story weaves around a motif of strength, solidity, depth and beauty summed up in the branches of the big old fig tree, which is the centrepiece of the Station. And a touching reading during the ceremony of an extract from Captain Corelli’s Mandolin brought these two together beautifully.  Rel + Jake // Cinematic Highlights from Innovate Media on Vimeo. Get the Look: Mexican Wedding Fiesta!

12th November 2012

There is no denying our Mexican Wedding Fiesta in October 2012 volume of The Bride's Tree magazine is (and forgive the cliche) a feast for the eyes. It is positively delicious in every way. The use of rich colour and glamour against the relaxed rustic setting of Yandina Station is to die for. Yesterday we shared with you some of the many, many photographs by Adori Studios that we couldn't fit in the pages of our free online bridal magazine. Yesterday was all about the styling, while today it's all about the look. Our gorgeous models Francesca and G sure make this unique Mexican…

Mexican Wedding Fiesta Styling

11th November 2012

When we decided to put together a Mexican Wedding Fiesta for the latest issue of The Bride's Tree free online bridal magazine, we knew we would end up positively toothsome details to oggle. Especially once we signed on Splash Events to style the shoot. Holy guacamole, they did an incredible job! No detail too small, Nicole from Splash Events went above and beyond to deliver something truly unique and delicious in every way.  Complementing the styling was of course the most gahmayzing florals from none other than the incomparable Blooms of Noosa, who always put together something that blows us…

Whimsical Garden Party Wedding at Yandina Station

12th July 2012

On the morning of Carly and Anthony’s Sunshine Coast wedding, Carly’s lovely bridesmaid, Kayla, made the lovely gesture of getting a cooked breakfast going. Eggs and bacon were on the sizzle, when an oil fire started… and that was the end of breakfast. The girls resorted to ice-cream and champagne for breakfast after that. And that was the last (not so) bad thing to happen that day. Despite a bit of rain in the morning, the afternoon cleared up beautifully, and this lovely young couple were able to be married under a spectacular fig tree in a whimsical garden party…
