Country Picnic Elopement Shoot at Blackwattle Farm

Blackwattle Farm-85

There is a burgeoning trend here on the Sunshine Coast for elopements. Wanting to steal away with the one you love and have a day all to yourselves free of fuss and fancy is appealing to a good many of you. However, in a day where we have – quite literally – at our very fingertips access to all of the most gorgeous weddings alive (and yes, I do mean alive – living and breathing, because that’s what a truly beautiful wedding is), whether it be here on The Bride’s Tree, one of the other many bridal blogs around or of course every bride’s best friend – Pinterest

Nobody wants to miss out on making the day their own with all the pretty in the land.

You want your cake (or cheese wheel) and eat it, too. You want the trimmings, you just want it on a smaller scale and you want it right here, the Queensland hub for weddings. Because why should you have less than the best, just because you want to elope?

This styled shoot was put together by some incredible local wedding vendors to show just how stunning a secret ceremony can be. The shoot took place at Blackwattle Farm, a private property about as close to the Glass House Mountains as you can get. It is a working farm, where a few pigs, alpacas and cows happily roam, and make cameo appearances in the odd wedding.

Let’s take a look at this love story, where model couple Mark and Bridgette elope to Blackwattle Farm near Beerwah, and picnic like only lovers do. Renee Towers is responsible for the crazy beautiful images you are about to behold.

Get ready to fall in love with the idea of a country picnic elopement.

Who wouldn’t want a Flower Pig to be part of the proceedings? I’m not sure how she would go signing as a witness, though.
