Elisha + Justin’s Sunshine Beach Wedding

e&j-3

It was love at first glimpse over the library carrels for this pair… not really, I kind of made that part up, but it does sound sweet, doesn’t it? Never mind, they still have a very lovely story having met here on the Sunshine Coast, while studying at the local university. Elisha and Justin both lived at the same student accommodation. The trick of it was, Justin is Canadian and was living here on a student visa.

Five years, lots of international travel, and time apart agonisingly awaiting visa approval, they were married in a stunning Sunshine Beach wedding at The Surf Club Sunshine Beach. Now the pair happily reside here on the Sunshine Coast, putting their degrees to good use in marketing careers. What a happy ending!

Let’s just imagine some wistful glances between exam cramming Felicity-style happened anyway, shall we?

“Both our ceremony and reception were at the Sunshine Beach Surf Club, and both areas were beautifully decorated by the team at Splash Events. The grass area overlooking the beach was the perfect setting for the ceremony and celebratory drinks afterwards, while the ocean front room was the perfect size for our small wedding of 70 guests (and the banquet style dinner they served us was unbelievable!)”

“Our photographer was Tahlea Blunt Photography – she was everything and more! She perfectly captured our day through her non-intrusive, natural style photos and she gave us the direction we needed during our short and sharp bridal party photos.”

“We met studying at the Sunshine Coast University where we lived at the same student accommodation. My husband is Canadian, so after lots of travelling back and forth from Australia to Canada, and after multiple visas and time spent apart waiting for their approval, we found ourselves committing to one another five years later in front of our closest friends and family”
