Erin Clare Bridal – 2020 Ambient Collection featuring Brisbane Brides

Erin Clare Couture - Bridal Couture Wedding Dresses - Sunshine CoastAustralian bridal couture designer, Erin Oberem of Erin Clare Bridal has a brand new 2020 collection. This one will be of particular interest to our Brisbane brides.
The Ambient collection is positively dreamy, and we’re sharing it with you today, along with a few words from the designer herself. Read on to find out how you can still have your own personal bridal gown appointment from the safety and comfort of your own home.

Erin, tell us about your new 2020 Ambient collection.

With our Ambient collection we focused on gowns that have classic silhouettes with strong, modern design lines. As always we love working with beautiful fabrics that are both comfortable and forgiving. With a number of our gowns we have chosen a beautiful clean crepe (Sasha, Neve, Tilly and Masie). We sourced a sensational luxurious satin and are thrilled with the drape and movement in our Satin Tilly gown.
For our Brisbane brides that are after that bit of bling we selected a collection of embroidered and beaded laces of which are exclusive to Erin Clare Bridal (Pip. Marley, Izzy and Montanna). For brides that are looking for texture, we created a number of feminine embroidered lace gowns (Evie, Lexie, Alexa, Josie Lux). We love tulle toppers and textured overskirts for our brides that are keen on changing their look from ceremony to reception.

What’s trending for 2020-21 bridal fashion?

We have found brides are becoming more confident in choosing gowns that truly embody their unique personal style.  Modern brides are trusting more on how they feel in a gown and following their instincts.  The day of the cookie cutter bride is waning with the emergence of powerful, modern, clean-cut  and still fiercely feminine women.

We really admire your brand and how you support Australian women in your business, tell us about that.

In 2002 when Erin Clare Bridal was established we decided a big part of what we do at Erin Clare Bridal is to create jobs in Australia. Ours is an Australian brand, all of our gowns are hand made in Australia. Each gown is individually cut and hand made (not mass produced) this means we are able to create bespoke gowns, this allows brides flexibility when looking for their perfect gown.Throughout these uncertain times we are truly grateful that we are able to continue to operate our business.

What’s in store in the future for Erin Clare Bridal?

Over the last few years we have had a growth in enquiries from brides in the United States. Erin Clare Bridal now stock Boutiques in Santa Monica, Los Angeles as well as Brooklyn, New York. When designing our Ambient Collection we have kept our international brides and boutiques in mind.

How can Brisbane brides shop for their bridal gown right now?

For the bride that is planning her wedding and unable to go shopping we are happy to schedule video calls (FaceTime or Skype) and answer any questions you may have regarding your upcoming wedding. Contact Erin to schedule your online appointment
