Kimberley + Nhan’s Sunshine Coast Elopement

Brisbane couple, Kimberley and Nhan, eloped to the Sunshine Coast hinterland as a family with their gorgeous little man, Lincoln, as the sole witness and guest of honour.

While they wanted their own private nuptials, they didn’t want to miss out on that extra special wedding day feeling and all the bells and whistles that came along with it. So they commissioned the wedding planners from Coast to Country Weddings and Events to gather a crack team of wedding vendors to execute an intimate Sunshine Coast elopement with the feel of a full wedding.

I think once you have had a little scroll through the images below, you will join me in saying, “mission accomplished!” Images by Talitha Crawford Photography.

Nhan also at one point lived next door to my then best friend! But it wasn’t until a year after finishing school did we really have an actual conversation and start spending time together.”KimberlyNhan0026KimberlyNhan0027bw KimberlyNhan0036KimberlyNhan0045“Our biggest money saver is finding our elopement package. $2800 got us absolutely everything – celebrant, flowers, decor, cake, photography, six-course meal, overnight stay on the farm and hair and makeup on site! Absolute lifesaver.”KimberlyNhan0079 KimberlyNhan0061Flowers by Ginger Lily & Rose Floral StudioKimberlyNhan0056 KimberlyNhan0105“The most important thing I wanted when planning my wedding was it to actually still feel like a full wedding. Just because we eloped and didn’t invite any guest I didn’t want to be stripped of any of the wedding day fun.”KimberlyNhan0101bwKimberlyNhan0097 KimberlyNhan0117 KimberlyNhan0113 KimberlyNhan0108“I think being able to have Lincoln there made our day 100 times more special for us.”KimberlyNhan0149 KimberlyNhan0145 KimberlyNhan0142 KimberlyNhan0189“All photos were taken on site at Mango Hill Farm.”KimberlyNhan0174 KimberlyNhan0165 Maleny elopement_ The Bride's Tree“We have very similar personalities, which makes it easy for us to just flow together without clashing too much. Nhan and I wrote a little love letter to each other and exchanged them the night of our wedding.””Maleny elopement _ The Bride's Tree _ 1KimberlyNhan0229 KimberlyNhan0263“If you’re thinking about eloping but worried what your family will think, don’t! Eloping was the best decision we made and I loved not having to stress about if everyone was having a good time. Family and friends will come to terms with it eventually. Either way whatever kind of wedding you have enjoy your day as hopefully it only comes once!”KimberlyNhan0262 KimberlyNhan0043Naked cake by Chocolate2Chilli with fresh flowers by Ginger Lily & Rose Floral StudioKimberlyNhan0197bwPhotos: Talitha Crawford Photography | Wedding planner: Coast to Country Weddings and Events | Flowers: Ginger Lily & Rose Floral Studio | Venue: Mango Hill Farm | Catering: Gourmet Vacation | Cake: Chocolate2Chilli | Makeup: Makeup4Brides | Hair: Hair4Brides | Decorators: Coast to Country Weddings and Events | Celebrant: Margarita Priori-Smith | Wedding night accommodation: Mango Hill Farm Cottage
