Their engagement party and photo shoot session were both rained out. So bride, Melanie, was convinced she was cursed and her wedding day was a wash out as well! However she was actually destined to have the most perfect day Maleny wedding day ever.
You know those days up in the hinterland, where the air is the most fresh you’ve breathed in your life, and the blue skies make the views of the Sunshine Coast and Glass House Mountains go for days… This is what Melanie and Coleman were blessed with for their wedding at Maleny Manor.
It was such a special wedding day. One that has touched our hearts with all of the little memorable moments and details. Capture the Moment Photography and second shooter Tracey Devereaux Photography were there to – well, to capture every moment!
“We exchanged a few gifts between Coleman and I however the most memorable were the gifts and cards Coleman had hand- written for each of the bridesmaids and my family. I had no idea he had done this and there weren’t too many dry eyes in the room. “
“My mum, mother-in-law and MOH all came to my final dress fitting – this was really special for the mums as I am the only daughter and Coleman’s mum has three sons!” 
“A close friend of ours played at our ceremony. I also carried charms on my bouquet containing photos of my grandparents on their wedding days which was special as both sets of grandparents have passed.”
“We are likechalk and cheese – we complement and bring out the best in each other.” 
“Number one priority of course was The Dress. Number two was finding the perfect photographer! We certainly did that! Carissa was more like a friend than just our photographer. Once all the big items were booked, everything else fell into place.”
“Be sure to get a videographer! It may seem like a huge expense but it is worth every cent! We weren’t going toget one at first, however my Dad passed away about six weeks after our wedding and I am so glad we have one now as it’s something I can look back on forever.”
