Real Wedding: Chelsea & Ben in Twin Waters

Chelsea and Ben are a beautiful local couple, who reside in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. After two years together, they embarked on a three-year engagement, during which Chelsea planned their dream day with the help of her mother and sister.

At Twin Waters Golf Club, they said their I Dos amongst 68 of their closest family members and friends. Their special day was captured by the talented Lee from Life and Love Photography.

A Starting Point

Before anything we looked around at venues, to get a feel for what was out there, what was within our budget and what we felt would best reflect and accommodate our personal style. When I first started planning three years prior I wanted a very low key, casual wedding. After three years I changed my mind I went with a rustic theme.

Mum’s the Word

My Mum was my savour throughout the planning process. She took the reigns on a few things.Ben and I asked both our Mum’s be the ones to witness our marriage certificate as they are both very special to us.

The Bride’s Advice

Hire a great photographer like we did. Everything will go SO fast, so you will want photo’s to look back on the day and remember.

Family and Friends

Almost everyone we invited was there, so we were surrounded by those who meant the most to us. It was a big year for Ben and I – becoming an Uncle and Aunty and buying our first home, so our wedding was the perfect way to end a great year.

Gifts for The Bridal Party

Ben and I decided to pay for our bridal parties outfits. The bridesmaids dresses were tailor made, and can be worn again.
