Rhyann loves Christian | Yandina Wedding

Rhyann & Christian

Rhyann and Christian made the choice to have just 40 guests at their wedding in May earlier this year. They say making the choice to share their day with only those closest to them, the people who have shared in previous life milestones, made their day.

They also chose a venue with ultimate privacy, the secluded Yandina wedding venue, The Rocks. Both their wedding ceremony and reception were held in one place, and they omitted a lot of the formalities of the day, such as speeches and dances, to simply enjoy the party.

The bride was kind enough to share some details from her wedding with us below.

The Music

Angus and Julia Stone for the lot. I walked down the aisle to Just a Boy and we played Snow when we walked back together. It went with our boho/rustic theme.

The Best Part of Our Day

The intimacy of it. Because we had such a small wedding, everyone there had already celebrated and supported us through many other milestones.

Advice for Future Brides

Less is best – the night goes so fast! Only have your nearest and dearest so you can sit back and enjoy the night.

The Proposal

Christian set up a picnic at Moffat Beach headlands with my favourite goodies – kombucha and sushi. He coaxed me over to the lookout, and I turned around and groped his pockets!

Our Biggest Priority

Keeping it fun and relaxed. We didn’t have any of the usual formalities (speeches, bridal party, first dance, etc) so it was just one big party!
