Kelly and Mark say having their whole family come out from South Africa to be together to share in their special day made it the most special time. The lovely couple are both originally from South Africa, but met in Melbourne and now live here on the Sunshine Coast. So making sure their international guests would enjoy their stay was of utmost importance in their planning. In a whimsical woodland themed wedding at Yandina Station, Phoebe and Lochlan were married amongst an intimate gathering of their closest family and friends. The Dairy at Yandina Station was transformed delightfully with an outdoors-in feel, featuring tree stumps, moss and roses. Set at the stunning Yandina Station, Rel and Jake’s wedding story weaves around a motif of strength, solidity, depth and beauty summed up in the branches of the big old fig tree, which is the centrepiece of the Station. When we decided to put together a Mexican Wedding Fiesta for the latest issue of The Bride's Tree free online bridal magazine, we knew we would end up positively toothsome details to oggle. Especially once we signed on Splash Events to style the shoot. Holy guacamole, they did an incredible job! On the morning of Carly and Anthony’s Sunshine Coast wedding, Carly’s lovely bridesmaid, Kayla, made the lovely gesture of getting a cooked breakfast going. Eggs and bacon were on the sizzle, when an oil fire started… and that was the end of breakfast. The girls resorted to ice-cream and champagne for breakfast after that. And that was the last (not so) bad thing to happen that day. Despite a bit of rain in the morning, the afternoon cleared up beautifully, and this lovely young couple were able to be married under a spectacular fig tree in a whimsical garden party…
