Toes in the Water | Wedding Inspiration

It was like a fairytale in the cool creek waters, away from the heat of summer in the Sunshine Coast hinterland.

Surrounded by candles, toes dipped in the cooling waters, models Tiannah and Mackenzie were “married” by celebrant, Danielle – Your Story Celebrant. It wasn’t a formal, nor official affair, but one to showcase a summer wedding beside the water without the heat. The trees and running water provided the coolness for the shoot, set up for inspiration by some talented Sunshine Coast wedding vendors. 
 
 
Kristy from Maple Weddings and Events explained the concept behind the shoot. “We wanted to do something in water and looking more so at the elopements and summer. Summer –  people often think its too hot but not if you are in water!
 
The shoot was designed to showcase how an alternative elopement in the hinterland might play out, complete with atmospheric simple styling of ample candles in the creek waters and abundant greenery ceremony arbour.
