Getting married is such a big moment which is why I make it my priority to hold space for you to express yourself in the most meaningful way possible while keeping the vibe relaxed and engaging for both you and for your guests, allowing you to feel at ease and be present in the moment.
With a background in event management, I first came into the industry as a wedding coordinator and planner about 15 years ago. Back then, the ceremony was seen as a formality everyone had to get through before the party started, but it’s my hope for it to be the favourite part of your day, setting the tone for the remainder of your wedding.
I’m a details person. Couples invest so much in the aesthetic of their wedding day, as well as other vendors such as photographers & videographers. So, I like to know the style & colours in your concept, so that I can dress accordingly to the venue, season & vibe as well as ensuring you and your wedding party are well positioned for the best photo opportunities throughout the ceremony. Plan on writing your own vows? I encourage all of my couples to do this, as in my opinion, it’s the most important part of the ceremony itself! I mean that’s what we’re all here for right? So it’s my job not only to build this moment up for you as best I can, but to also ensure you feel really confident in delivering them. All of my couples receive my personally written vow writing kit, which has heaps of information to assist you in writing the perfect vows, and I am also on hand to offer any feedback, guidance or suggested amendments in the case that you want it throughout the writing process. In the case that you are on the shyer side and prefer not to do this, I also have some really great ways in which we can navigate this element, whereby I can do the talking on your behalf & no one will even notice.
Want to keep the vibe going throughout your wedding reception? I also offer a professional MC service which can really contribute to your whole day feeling cohesive and engaging. From coordinating an epic wedding party intro, no boring housekeeping announcements as I like to bring the banter no matter what is being addressed, warming the crowd and giving each speaker a fun intro so they feel as confident as possible, ensuring all of the announcements such as cake cutting, champagne tower, bouquet toss & first dance are executed, and last but not least I will do my absolute best to get all of your guests up onto the dance floor!
