Photo of the Week

20th April 2012

Holy amazing tree! And look at that sunlight! And look at the vines, they are a life force of their own, undoubtedly much like the love these two have for one another. This image by Robeccer of Adori Studios would now have to be one of our faves by far. It was taken at the Brisbane Botanical Gardens by this absolutely drop dead talented Sunshine Coast wedding photographer.  Okay, so aside from the absolutely stunning tree, (we sure like trees at The Bride's Tree and are quite lost for words with this particular one!), our next fave thing about this…

Photo of the Week

13th April 2012

Today's Photo of the Week is pretty and pure, and funky as hell. We love this creative image by Ritchie Duce of Level Eleven Photography. It's so sweet and natural, but the awesome flesh tunnel earring brings an edginess like no other image we've seen. These little details may go unnoticed by others, but Ritchie is acutely aware that a beautiful bride with this kind of funky style would want it captured amongst all the bridal femininity. This is her style, her personality and her big day, after all. Ritchie is a passionate Sunshine Coast wedding photographer, who runs Level Eleven Photography, an…

Classic Vintage at Sunshine Beach

12th April 2012

Robert and Jules had a simply magical Sunshine Coast wedding day at the Sunshine Beach Surf Club. Family, beautiful flowers, gorgeous styling and presenting personal touches in earnest were all most important to this lovely couple. Fishing, flowers and a love of the ocean helped to form their tasteful classic vintage beach wedding theme. Guests were treated to pretty fishing lures at bombonieres and with a great choice of location, an ocean view complete with whales breaching! Their lunchtime reception both helped keep costs down on the bar tab, and allowed their elder guests to attend in comfort. Family is…

Cocktail Wedding at Coconut Grove

25th March 2012

Greer and James, along with their beautiful little boy, Jude, made their vows on a private lawn overlooking Sunshine Beach, a relaxed and pretty coastal town only 10 minutes south of Noosa. They then celebrated their marriage with a cocktail wedding reception at Coconut Grove Bar & Bistro, Sunshine Beach.  We absolutely love this location choice. Every Sunshine Beach wedding we have seen has been just lovely and natural, and utilised that amazing ocean view. As for their reception venue, Coconut Grove is one of our faves. The stylish décor is interesting, yet simple and casual. It’s one of those…

Gah! Balloons and kissing! What a winning combination. This super cute photo shoot was taken by Sunshine Coast wedding photographer, Andrea Sproxton Photography. It’s a winning combination of perfect sunlight, super cute couple having a sweet moment, and that awesome pop of colour in the red and white helium balloons. What a great way to add something a little bit different to your engagement photo shoot. Andrea’s natural talent and eye for photography combined with her training in Los Angeles, USA, makes her one of the Sunshine Coast’s most sought after wedding photographers.   You can view more of Andrea's…

Photo of the Week

9th March 2012

We just LOVE this photo by Sunshine Coast wedding photographer, Penny Riddoch! We can only imagine what was said to cause this reaction from Nana! It's such a perfect moment to capture on camera, and I'm sure one of the favourites for this lucky couple, Alan and Helen, who held their small Maleny wedding ceremony and reception at The Reserve Restaurant.  Penny takes photos you dream of having on your wall and in your wedding photo album. Her passion for photographing weddings is simply put by the woman herself, "I love to photograph people who are in love." Still after…

There is something really special about this photo by Lindy Photography. The beautiful bride's lace veil and intricately designed dress are spectacularly photographed by this awesome Sunshine Coast wedding photographer. We love how Lindy has captured the serene look on the bride's face. No nerves walking down the aisle for this bride, that's for sure! The composition and lighting in this photograph is to die for. Of course, this is to be expected when we're talking about Lindy Photography, who has been photographing weddings from Noosa to Caloundra and beyond for a good many years. Lindy brings a wealth of knowledge…
