1950’s Style Wedding at Noosa Sound

12th August 2012

Larissa and Lewis planned  their 1950’s style wedding in Noosa Sound in 11 months. Down to the last little detail, their gorgeous classic theme was a real winner in this Sunshine Coast setting. The bride certainly looked the part with her gorgeous bold red lips and winged eyeliner, wearing a classic 50’s style full skirted calf-length skirt and fabulous sequinned red peep toe shoes. For transportation, the couple hooned around town in awesome hired red and yellow Mustangs, first to their ceremony at Ravenwood Park, Noosa Sound, and then on to their reception at Trio’s On The River at Noosa Marina….

Photo of the Week

9th August 2012

It's raining rose petals! Let's celebrate! This couple had a spot of rain at their Noosa Wedding, but as we all know, that's good luck, anyway. You know what else is good luck? Having the wonderful Lindy Photography as your Sunshine Coast wedding photographer! We love this image, it's just so fun. Lindy has captured the moment perfectly – the looks on the brides and groom's faces are priceless! What a beautiful day they had.

Country Charm with Fruit Wedding Styling

23rd July 2012

There is a whole lot of creative pretty in this charming country wedding. Who knew a tower of green apples could make such an impressive centrepiece! Keirra and Chris said their vows under a pretty chandelier and lantern-adorned tree on Keirra's family's private property in Traverston, which is located in the Noosa hinterland. Parasols, fruit punch and chalk boards are all present in the styling of this Noosa hinterland wedding, and it's thanks to the genius of Sunshine Coast wedding decorators, Beedazzled Events, who never cease to amaze us with their inspired creativity. We love this vintage country charm using…

Photo of the Week

25th May 2012

This Noosa wedding photo is really unique and lovely. Of course it's by one of our favourite Sunshine Coast wedding photographers, Alan Hughes. The building itself with the old school ice-cream stand striped awning sets a great scene for the intimate kiss between the newlyweds. And if the cute couple aren't enough to put a smile on your face, there's always the reminder that ice-cream makes you happy! Now, if you would like to meet the taker of this pretty picture here, you simply must pop along to the It's My Wedding Expo at Maroochy RSL tomorrow from 10:00am to…

Pomona Catholic Church wedding

29th April 2012

Sophia and Tim have been madly in love for ten years, and consider themselves best friends. They were married in a sweet little catholic church – St. Patricks Catholic Church in Pomona – and held their prettily styled wedding reception for 105 guests at Sails Restaurant in Noosa. When planning their nuptials, Sophia had a bit of trouble narrowing down her many ideas into a styled theme that was both what she wanted and simplified enough to work. Her mother was the saviour there, helping to get things on track. The concept ended up being clean, crisp white with pops…

Cute, Fun, Colourful Noosa Beach Wedding

25th April 2012

Do you remember a little while ago we posted the world’s most awesome wedding invitation? To jog your memory, it was a stop motion clip set to Halls & Oats’ You Make My Dreams, featuring today’s Sunshine Coast real wedding couple, Bronnie and Sam. This gorgeous young couple were engaged for six months after having been together for almost three years following an introduction by a mutual friend at a coffee shop, and then Bronwyn started attending Sam’s church. I genuinely have not seen a more sweet couple in all my time, and when you see their wedding photos below,…

Bouquet of the Week

14th April 2012

Welcome to the first of our Bouquet of the Week series! This beautiful bold bouquet comes from Sunshine Coast florist, Blooms of Noosa. It was created for the lovely Kelly for her Sunshine Coast wedding. Kelly's favourite colours are purple and white, and she wanted to use flowers that were in season, which is a wise money-saving choice.  Blooms of Noosa have put together a stunning posy of purple tulips, vanda orchids and white lisianthus. We love the bright purple! A fantastic and very different choice for a bridal bouquet. These photos are by the lovely Katja Anton Photography.   Have…

Photo of the Week

30th March 2012

The best part of this photo is the expression you can just make out on the faces of each and every person in the bridal party. They are clearly just so happy for their dear friends. We also absolutely love the classic black suits and the amazing bridal gown on this Sunshine Coast bride.  This fortunate couple had a beautiful day for their Noosa Springs wedding, and they had every moment captured by Craig of Brock Photography, a very sought after Sunshine Coast wedding photographer. In this wedding album, it was hard to choose a favourite as Craig does such a…

Film of the Week

10th March 2012

Our third Film of the Week comes to us from Wild Bunch Weddings. The stand out for us in this film is the bride's absolutely amazing dress! My goodness, this is seriously one of the most amazingly gorgeous wedding gowns we have seen on a Sunshine Coast bride. Truly inspiring wedding fashion indeed.  Mieke and Brett were married at the gorgeous Maison la Plage Grove, Noosa. Their wedding ceremony was beautifully decorated by Love Bird Weddings, and they were fortunate enough to have stunning weather with beautiful sunset skies on the beach at Noosa.  Enjoy this wedding with its lovely…
