Pretty and Delicious

5th January 2013

A bit of delish for you this fine Sunday, lovely Sunshine Coast brides. This cake is three layers of cherry ripe mud cake, covered in rich dark chocolate ganache and finished with white sugar paste. The roses are handmade from sugar paste, and the whole cake is wrapped in a handmade sugar paste bow. Delightful! To vamp up the pretty factor and add a touch of glamour, a brooch is fastened to the cake as well. The only non-edible part of this beautiful wedding cake. This gorgeous wedding cake was made for Angie and Gavin, were married on Friday at…

Dream Noosa Main Beach Wedding

23rd December 2012

The beautiful, colourful wedding of Ana and Josh is something a little bit extra special for you lovely Sunshine Coast brides today. They were blessed with perfect weather for their Noosa Main Beach wedding, after a week of stormy weather, so their dream of a beach wedding was fulfilled.  Ana didn’t have a specific theme in mind when planning her wedding, so she relied upon her stylist and florist to guide her in the right direction. The results are absolutely amazing, so it just goes to show that allowing seasoned professionals to do what they do best can really pay…

If it weren’t for this shower, this couple would not have such an incredibly stunning image. Oh okay, well yes it is photographer Alan Hughes we are talking about, so they would have had something equally as stunning without a doubt, but the…

Larissa and Lewis planned  their 1950’s style wedding in Noosa Sound in 11 months. Down to the last little detail, their gorgeous classic theme was a real winner in this Sunshine Coast setting. The bride certainly looked the part with her gorgeous bold red lips and winged eyeliner, wearing a classic 50’s style full skirted calf-length skirt and fabulous sequinned red peep toe shoes. Country Charm with Fruit Wedding Styling

23rd July 2012

There is a whole lot of creative pretty in this charming country wedding. Who knew a tower of green apples could make such an impressive centrepiece! Keirra and Chris said their vows under a pretty chandelier and lantern-adorned tree on Keirra's family's private property in Traverston, which is located in the Noosa hinterland. Parasols, fruit punch and chalk boards are all present in the styling of this Noosa hinterland wedding, and it's thanks to the genius of Sunshine Coast wedding decorators, Beedazzled Events, who never cease to amaze us with their inspired creativity. We love this vintage country charm using…

Photo of the Week

25th May 2012

This Noosa wedding photo is really unique and lovely. Of course it's by one of our favourite Sunshine Coast wedding photographers, Alan Hughes. The building itself with the old school ice-cream stand striped awning sets a great scene for the intimate kiss between the newlyweds. And if the cute couple aren't enough to put a smile on your face, there's always the reminder that ice-cream makes you happy! Now, if you would like to meet the taker of this pretty picture here, you simply must pop along to the It's My Wedding Expo at Maroochy RSL tomorrow from 10:00am to…
