Get the Look: Mexican Wedding Fiesta!

12th November 2012

There is no denying our Mexican Wedding Fiesta in October 2012 volume of The Bride's Tree magazine is (and forgive the cliche) a feast for the eyes. It is positively delicious in every way. The use of rich colour and glamour against the relaxed rustic setting of Yandina Station is to die for. Yesterday we shared with you some of the many, many photographs by Adori Studios that we couldn't fit in the pages of our free online bridal magazine. Yesterday was all about the styling, while today it's all about the look. Our gorgeous models Francesca and G sure make this unique Mexican…

Mexican Wedding Fiesta Styling

11th November 2012

When we decided to put together a Mexican Wedding Fiesta for the latest issue of The Bride's Tree free online bridal magazine, we knew we would end up positively toothsome details to oggle. Especially once we signed on Splash Events to style the shoot. Holy guacamole, they did an incredible job! No detail too small, Nicole from Splash Events went above and beyond to deliver something truly unique and delicious in every way.  Complementing the styling was of course the most gahmayzing florals from none other than the incomparable Blooms of Noosa, who always put together something that blows us…

Photo of the Week

9th November 2012

Last Saturday, Hannah and Nick enjoyed beautiful weather at their Buderim wedding at Wirreander Park. The two met working at Australia Zoo, where both still work now, so it was only appropriate that the two animal lovers include some form of wildlife in their wedding. What better way to incorporate one of their loves than by having an owl ring bearer?  This simply magical photograph was captured by Sunshine Coast wedding photographer, Eliza Addison Photography. Amazing!

Yellow and Blue-grey Wedding Colour Palette

4th November 2012

Wedding prettiness comes in many different forms, and sometimes in an interesting colour palette. I am totally loving sick the colour combination in this wedding. Tones of yellow and blue-grey work in the most splendid way for a wedding colour theme. The pretty bright yellow flowers, lemon bridesmaid dresses, matched with the groom and groomsmens' suits go together like peas and carrots, and create a perfect mix of feminine and masculine. The yellow and blue wedding theme works perfectly for a Sunshine Coast beach wedding, as you will see in the stunningly gorgeous photographs below. Photos which of course can only be…

Photo of the Week

26th October 2012

Today's bee-yoo-ti-ful Photo of the Week is by one of our all-time fave Sunshine Coast wedding photographers, Tanya, from Chesterton Smith Photography. We absolutely adore the quality of images Tanya produces and the stories her pretty pictures tell.  This one today speaks for itself, but as Tanya says, "There is nothing better than a good kiss on the beach with your beloved."
