A Little Bit of Magic in Maleny | Styled Shoot

Up in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, there’s a Maleny wedding venue that was dressed to perfection by a talented team of local wedding vendors from the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane regions. 

 

Bringing some of the most popular 2023-2024 wedding trends to the theme of this shoot, that was heavily centred around the romantic garden style wedding floral arbour and fairy garden aisle arrangement by Willow Bud, and pared back with the chic modern styling by Simply Style Co. A stand out feature of this shoot was the bright and beautiful contemporary style stationery and signage, created by Bluebird Invitations.

Hinting at a retro vibe, which is very on trend for 2023-2024 weddings is the inclusion of nostalgic elements, like this scalloped umbrella, which you can see used throughout in the stationery design. It pairs seamlessly with the bold, rounded-edged serif font used in the stationery suite and signage. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The toussled upstyle is a firm favourite with brides this year. The softness around the face and glam, textured high bun is flattering on all hair colours. The model’s makeup is kept in a minimalistic style with nude tones and focusing on creating fullness in the lashes. This works superbly as it allows her eyes to peek out from underneath the sweeping tendrils framing her face. 

 

The asymmetrical dress is a fun style with ruffled shoulder detail and cut out detail, flowing down to a billowing full skirt that makes for a great prop for photos.
