Victoria + Tristan’s Maleny Wedding

When planning their Maleny wedding, Brisbane couple, Victoria and Tristan, didn’t have a theme in mind. Their only requisite was that everyone should enjoy themselves, and they should feel as comfortable as if they had popped over to their home for a dinner party.

Mission accomplished at the always welcoming Maleny Manor, and accentuated with sweet little details, such as the family wedding portraits hung on canvases as the bridal table backdrop.

Bright and friendly colours were used throughout, including in the stunning bouquets by Mondo Floral Designs

Fulltime students Victoria and Tristan, who met online five years ago, took a short honeymoon to enjoy charming Maleny before heading back to their studies.

Lara and Susie Photography captured every beautiful moment of Victoria and Tristan’s Sunshine Coast hinterland wedding.

I used my mothers lace in my gown. every dress fitting was with my mother and grandma.

My advice to other brides… choose the things you like, try not to be swayed by the trends, and take a moment on the day to high five your new husband and enjoy the day you have created.”
