Whenever we have worked with Matt Rowe Photography, we have been struck by the care he takes in ensuring he gets just the right shot. He’s looking for perfection, and he does not stop until he gets it. This is evident in today’s Photo of the Week, which is from an engagement shoot in Bli Bli.  It’s an outrageously gorgeous sunset love story for Djanisa and Rana, and we are hopelessly in love with it! Nautical Wedding Stationery

12th March 2013

For their upcoming wedding, Chloe and Joel commissioned Kerrie-anne Designs to custom design an invitation set that would lend itself to their dual theme. Rustic and nautical was the order of the day, so super clever and creative Kerrie-Anne set about creating this unique set, which includes the invitation itself, personalised name tags, map to the ceremony, and RSVP postcard. With her design, Kerrie-anne had a stamp made, which she applied to transparent paper and fixed it to balsa wood. We absolutely adore the attention to detail and care put into every one of Kerrie-anne’s designs.  Kerrie-anne Designs has both custom…

Intimate Wedding at Exclusive Hinterland Estate

10th March 2013

Justine and Simon enjoyed their special day exactly the way they wanted to. All of their guests enjoyed a breakfast together, after spending the night at the luxurious private estate of Spicers Clovelly. With complete privacy for their intimate wedding of just 10 guests, the bridal couple were free to enjoy a walk together after breakfast, which calmed them for the day they faced ahead. Meanwhile, guests swam in the pool and enjoyed a light lunch before frocking up for the onsite ceremony.  The stand outs for us at this wedding were Justine’s positively toothsome Manolo Blahnik blue heels a…

6th March 2013

Guest blog post by Carrie and Emily from A Darling Affair. Over at A Darling Affair we’re gearing up for our first event of the year – The Celebration Fair. All of our planning has us in a party mood and nothing says party and excitement like CONFETTI! We reflected on the invention of confetti and found that it originates with the tradition of showering newly weds in things such as rice as they leave their wedding ceremony. Indeed an expression of LOVE as it represents showering the bride and groom in well wishes for their life together. Continuing our series…
