Real Wedding: Madeleine & Corey in Maleny

18th November 2014

On a typically beautiful day in Maleny, Madeleine and Corey got hitched. Their dream Sunshine Coast hinterland wedding was all about having a fun and enjoyable atmosphere with a hint of vintage charm. The lovely couple commissioned the likes of some of The Bride’s Tree’s fave wedding professionals to ensure they had an amazing wedding day.  This is evident in the images below by Sunshine Coast wedding photographer, Andrea Sproxton Photography. Madeleine’s pink and lilac bridal bouquet was a sweet vintage posy by Willow Bud. //// Madeleine was a classically beautiful bride On my wedding day it was very overcast however it didn’t…

Let us flashback…  One of the prettiest styled shoots we have ever featured can be found on the pages of our free online magazine as our cover story for October 2013. It’s full of sparkles and glitter and all things gorgeous. A bunch of our A-list Vendors are responsible for creating this magical wedding inspiration, which makes…

Real Wedding: Kylie & Ryan at Noosa Waterfront

20th August 2014

Ah, this wedding is like a breath of fresh air. It’s swimming with sweetness, especially lots of involvement from family and friends. Kylie and Ryan’s wedding ceremony was held at Ryan’s grandparents’ Sunshine Coast range property. Their 70 guests then joined them for a fine dining experience at Noosa Waterfront Restaurant & Bar. We Are Twine captured the beauty and effortless elegance of this Noosa wedding day.  “I didn’t really have a theme in mind straight away. After doing some research (mostly with The Bride’s Tree), and working with what I had at Ryan’s grandmother’s, the theme just developed from them….

Real wedding: Kelly and Mark at Yandina Station

12th August 2014

Kelly and Mark say having their whole family come out from South Africa to be together to share in their special day made it the most special time. The lovely couple are both originally from South Africa, but met in Melbourne and now live here on the Sunshine Coast. So making sure their international guests would enjoy their stay was of utmost importance in their planning. Knowing 80% of their wedding guests were travelling so very far to be with them on their wedding day at Yandina Station made the couple focus on what was most important, and forego the stressful part…

Real Wedding: Leah and Junior in Noosa

22nd July 2014

We have seen some of the most beautiful Noosa weddings on the planet lately. Well, on the Sunshine Coast. On the Noosa. Ahem. The point is, today’s wedding is a prime example of a stunningly gorgeous wedding in Noosa.  //// Was it a day of blue skies and glistening water? No. Was there sunshine through the clouds, giving it a heavenly glow appearance? Not so much. It was actually pouring with rain. Oh, did it pour. So the bride and groom’s Plan B ceremony location was put in place. They utilised cute clear umbrellas, the bride loved. And when there…

Lavender Bouquet Trend

18th December 2013

Ranunculus, astilbe, hyacinth, sweet peas, tulips, anenomes, andromeda, roses and Dusty Miller make up this intoxicating concoction of springtime lavender goodness I just can’t get enough of. This is the very picture of the latest trend in wedding flowers – unstructured bouquet arrangement of pretty complementary pastels with deep colours and a touch of white in a big, beautiful rose of perfection. Hallelujah! Thank you, Willow Bud, for this feast my eyes will be sustained by for quite some time.  //// Images by Artography

Lest we forget

11th November 2013

It is 11:00am. It is Rememberance Day here in Australia. So we are taking a moment to remember our fallen heroes and those who live with the mental and physical scars remaining with them today from their time fighting for our country.  The symbol of our ANZACS is the red poppy. While I couldn’t find any red poppies in bridal bouquets, I thought I would still share these symbolic flowers with you in these bouquets. No matter which day of the year you are marrying, why not consider including a poppy or two in your bouquet as a symbol of…
