Wedding on the Bay, Planned in 8 Weeks!

5th February 2013

The day Lara married her soul mate, Tim, couldn’t come soon enough. In fact, this loved up couple were so keen to kick off their married life together, they planned their entire wedding in just eight weeks! It was a bold move, but they pulled it off. Of course this ambitious idea was not something they could have achieved on their own, so they enlisted the help of wedding planner and coordinator, Emma from Wild Heart Weddings.  Lara and Tim say hiring Emma from Wild Heart Weddings to help plan their wedding, as well as coordinate the whole event on the day, was…

1940’s Bridal Style

3rd February 2013

The 1940’s were all about glamour and extravagance when it comes to ladies and their style. Brides today take elements from the 1940’s era and infuse them with contemporary styles to make for an extremely elegant wedding day look.  Some incredible Sunshine Coast wedding professionals came together to create this stunning shoot with oodles of glamour and style. The bride was pure vintage Hollywood movie star glamour with sleek finger waves and pin curl rolls, chocolate brown smoky eye colours, vintage claret lips, and of course the classic beauty spot! The bride carried a bouquet made of red ippeastrums, red…

Photo of the Week

1st February 2013

This lovely Sunshine Coast bride and groom wanted something fun for their engagement shoot. That sure is what they got! We love what the lovely Kristy from A Look Photography has done to make this the most fun engagment shoot we have ever seen!  Those balloons look like they have enough helium to take the bride flying, but something tells us this lucky groom will never let her go. Happy Saturday, lovely Sunshine Coast brides!

That special touch

27th January 2013

Guest blog post by Carrie and Emily from A Darling Affair. Each month the ladies will showcase specialties from their “Darling” vendors. This months theme is: bridesmaids Sometimes the giving of things or the finer details or effort means a lot more than when someone actually speaks the words “I love you”. We like people to have an “experience” when people come to our fairs. Making it personal helps others to see how much you care for them. Some people are better are creating things or giving things than expressing their verbal feelings. A gift from the heart. Asking your besties to…

This shoot was styled by Canadian events stylist, Heather Robinson Roles of Events Inspired, who recently relocated to the Sunshine Coast. How wonderful for us all! We absolutely adore this high tea shoot, which was inspired by The Great Gatsby.  As it is a high tea wedding Heather picked the colour of teal and combined with ivory and gold. Noosa Private Estate Wedding

22nd January 2013

Claire and Tyson were married at Cooroy Anglican Church by Pastor Josh Usher after an18-month engagement, preceding an 18-month romance. They knew early on they had the same spiritual values as they started their courtship on a solid foundation of friendship. Obviously a winning formula for a beautiful marriage!  They followed their church wedding with a reception for 100 guests at a private estate in Noosa with absolutely incredible views. The venue is beautiful, but a real blank canvas, that was transformed beautifully using lovely vintage styling with tea and the best sweets table we’ve seen!  The happy couple’s Cooroy/Noosa wedding…
