With love from The Wedding Guru

16th August 2012

Dear Kim,  Firstly, absolutely love your work! Like most brides I'm on a budget and want to make my money go further, spending on the things that people really notice and will remember on the day. One of my concerns are flowers (particularly bouquets)- while they're absolutely stunning, not many people really take notice except other brides to be, and I have 5 bridesmaids!! I don't like the flower corsage for bridesmaids, but basically I want to know what flower type, size etc is the cheapest and most pretty for value for money for boquets. Then, what is the best…

Twin Waters Wedding with Style

14th August 2012

You can be as fancy as you like with weddings these days, but there is also still something to be said for the beautiful simplicity of white flowers with luscious greenery. We adore this Novotel Twin Waters Resort wedding, styled by Beedazzled Events, because it allows the location and the love to take centre stage. Oh, and what a pretty location it is. I recently visited Novotel Twin Waters Resort to take a peek at a wedding set up in Lily’s On The Lagoon, a beautiful restaurant right on the water. It was a gorgeous day and the 180 degree view…

Fox Wedding in Maleny

6th August 2012

Kristen and Cameron Fox, who live on the north side of Brisbane, wanted to choose a place to be married that wasn’t too far for either their Brisbane-based family and friends, and also their Gympie-based family. And so they chose to hold their wedding in the gorgeous tropical rainforest gardens of Sunshine Coast hinterland wedding venue, The Beerwah Hideaway. When…
